God wants Abraham to renounce his paternity and trust Him completely, as should we. Christianity does not end on the cross but in the glory of the resurrection. Lent invites us to let ourselves be invited to the mount of transfiguration of Jesus, to enjoy the beauty of the glorified Lord, and to live from that beauty every day.
