Only when a man is alone, by himself, can he feel his reality. In this desert, there is a battle between the Holy Spirit and Satan. Lent wants to take us there and face the beasts of various temptations. It is also an invitation to embark on this path, return to Him and find in Him what we long for: to be loved and forgiven.
