The Archbishop of Ljubljana, Metropolitan and President of the Slovenian Bishops' Conference, Msgr Stanislav Zore, congratulated the Mufti of the Islamic Community in the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Nedžad Grabus, at the conclusion of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, which will end with Bairam on Thursday, May 13, 2021.

In his message on behalf of the Catholic Church in Slovenia, the president of SBC emphasized that during the ordeal, both Christians and Muslims trust in God, in his help in overcoming the epidemic, and expressed faith that suffering makes sense, although it is difficult to accept. He also ewmphasized that we, Christians and Muslims, are called to bring hope to the world as a sign of faith in God and witness a respectful, open dialogue, and we are builders of peace.
