Dear brothers and sisters,

We would like to invite you to join us in prayer and request to jointly overcome the difficult crisis of the Epidemic and the division between us. The time of COVID-19 coronavirus disease is a time of trial and an opportunity to deepen our faith and trust in God. In this way, we will emerge from the crisis purified and strengthened in the faith, and our communions will be a place of living faith. On Sunday, October 17, 2021, the Universal Church begins the synodal path of verifying life by faith in Christ. This path first starts at the level of dioceses and the level of the Church in Slovenia. Therefore, this Sunday will be an opportunity for all our communities to pray together to end the Epidemic in our homeland and to feel how we are all one family at this time, albeit with different opinions and beliefs, and called together to show responsibility and cooperation.
