The Slovene Catholic weekly Družina was first published on May 7, 1952. Fifty-two issues are published annually and, on special occasions, an extra edition. At the visit of St. Pope John Paul II in 1996, it was published daily, for three days. At the beginning of this jubilee, there will be a press conference on Thursday, May 6, 2021.
