The Metropolitan Archbishop of Ljubljana, President of the Slovenian Bishops' Conference (SBC), Msgr Stanislav Zore, received the President of the Republic, Mr Borut Pahor at a working lunch today, February 3, 2021, at the Archdiocese of Ljubljana.
During the meeting, they spoke about commemorating the victims of the COVID-19 epidemic, the joint sponsorship of the Stična mladih festival, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, the invitation to Holy Father Francis to visit Slovenia and the 30th anniversary of Slovenia's independence.
Archbishop Zore and President Pahor expressed support for constructive relations between the Catholic Church and the State and further resolving of open issues.
