The draft ordinance adopted today, December 30, 2020, extends the validity of the Ordinance on temporary restriction on implementation of freedom of religion (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, Nos. 190/20 and 198/20). Given the declared epidemic of the infectious disease COVID-19 and the country's current epidemiological situation, the government estimates that it should extend the restrictions under this ordinance until January 12, 2021. Depending on the epidemiological situation, the government must extend the applicable ordinances governing religious freedom each week or amend them.
