Today, February 19, 2021, the Archbishop and Metropolitan of Ljubljana and President of the Slovenian Bishops' Conference, Msgr Stanislav Zore, congratulated the new Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije.
In his message, Archbishop Zore described Patriarch Porfirije as a well-educated and deeply faithful man, ascetic, austere and open to dialogue. Archbishop Zore emphasized the desire for mutual respect and building the trust and good relations of the apostles of Christ, who proclaim that our Lord rose from the dead at Easter.
At the beginning of his mission as a Patriarch of Serbian Orthodox Church, the Archbishop entrusts the Patriarch Porfirije into protecting hands of Mother of God, the Bogorodica, and wishes him "many happy returns"!
