The Orthodox Theological Faculty of the University of Belgrade has published the monograph on medieval ruler martyrs, by author Dr Simon Malmenvall. He discusses the emergence of medieval ruler martyrs, which decisively marked the Christianization and formation of the historical consciousness of the Catholic and Orthodox lands in Eastern and Northern Europe.
