In honour of the 30th anniversary of the independent Republic of Slovenia, there will be a friendly gathering of bishops and believers from both sides of the former border after the ceremony in front of the church.

The event commemorates July 18, 1991, when the Slovenian flag of the newly independent state of Slovenia fluttered on the border stone in front of the church for the first time in the history of Slovenia.
