On November 21, 2020, Heavenly Father called home the retired Auxiliary Bishop of Maribor, Msgr. PhD Jožef Smej after 76 years of service as a priest. His life's work is extensive and versatile, as he was also a poet, an author, a translator and a researcher of church history.
