Lent's purpose is to become an increasingly light soil into which the word of God lays its seeds and to grow into a seed that will be ready for sowing and someday for harvesting. Today we are invited to silence. Let us remain silent and allow his word to speak to us. We will hear him knocking and open the door. He will awaken us in his resurrection as well.
