In the instructions valid from May 14, 2021, the Slovenian bishops decided that from May 14, 2021, choral and folk singing is allowed in worship. Church folk and choral singing is permitted if all singers wear masks and maintain a distance of 1.5 meters from each other, except between members of a common household.

In the Catholic Church, we strive to ensure that all church adult, youth and children's choirs and all vocal-instrumental groups continue operating after the end of the COVID-19 epidemic. Therefore, we urge all parish priests and choir leaders to maintain regular contact with their singers and begin joint rehearsals in compliance with all the prescribed preventive measures. Church choirs should start participating in worship as soon as possible.
